Training: 3/8/2011

AM Training:
A. Power Snatch: 3x1 @ 85% (145,155,165)
B. Power Clean + Jerk: 3x1 @ 85% (185,205,215)
C. Front Squat: 3x3 @ 80% (215)

Notes: felt like the technique was there today but no explosiveness in legs do to yesterday's workout. Form on jerk was a little iffy however. Front squats felt heavy. Adductors are smoked.

PM Training:

3. 3:35.8
4. 3:34.5
5. 3:34.6

Notes: was supposed to hit these at the same times. Wasn't sure what pace to go out at. 1:42 for the first one was a little quick. From there the legs died out a little until I noticed that I was starting the real "pull" too far out from the fan. I start the big kick back earlier and more aggressively and I was able to hold a faster pace for the last two intervals. Legs cooked!
